Known and recognized all over the world as the official hat of the Rastafarians, the tam actually got its start over in Scotland, where it was traditionally worn with kilts and bagpipes as part of the Scottish Highlands
outfit.  During the late 60's, it quickly became favored by the Jamaican Rastafarians as an ideal hat in which to stuff one's mass of dreadlocks. Popularized by Bob Marley and the rest of the Rastas, the tam continues to
be used by folks all over the world.

These custom made, hand crafted Tams come in all colors and styles. Our most popular model blends the colors of the Jamaican flag; black, green and yellow, or the colors of Ethiopia; black, green and red.

We offer both tight knit and loose knit models, and can even include a draw string for those of you who've been cultivating those dreads for some time. Rastafari!
